Bachelorette Party

Last weekend there was a bachelorette party for my granddaughter Amanda.  It was hosted by the maid-of-honor and attended by 3 of her 4 bridesmaids. I also was invited to attend as the designated driver for the evening.  It was a lot of fun.

First we checked into the hotel and the girls started the event with jello shots that Amanda's fiancée supplied.  Next we went to Applebee's, Amanda's favorite restaurant, for a good meal. The waiter was kind enough to take our picture.

Before we left, we gave Amanda a few gag gifts. Mine was a small garbage can decorated with "Amanda's Barf Bucket" in sticker letters. Wish I would have gotten a picture of it because by the end of the night, most of the stickers came off.

Our next stop was the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA where we made Amanda put on her blinking crown and sash that said Bride-to-be.  We all took a chance at the slot machines. Some of us won, some of us lost.....I wasn't one of the winners, but I did have fun. Here is a picture of Amanda trying her luck.

Our last stop for the evening was at the Molten Lounge in the Sands.

One of Amanda's favorite cover bands "UUU" was playing there.  Needless to say, her blinking apparel was getting her attention with lots of Congratulations from people around us.  The girls at the table next to us gave her a Blue Long Island to drink, which instantly became her favorite for the night.

After a lot of dancing we finally made it back to our hotel about 1:30 am and everyone fell right to sleep.
